We are a home-based business, but we have had a life long love affair with primitives. Reidel, my husband of 38 yrs, and I, had been doing shows and sales for over 20 years when we decided to open an antique mall/shop and do the designs that we loved the best. After years of having a store front, doing wholesale markets and displaying in the world trade centers, we longed to go back to doing OOAK designs that appealed to the niche of people who shared our love of primitives.
Thus, Tallowberry Creek Farm came to fruition in 2000 and we started our journey back to basics by building a big red barn to live in and began to homestead. We love raising & milking goats, having a menagerie of bunnies, a colorful assortment of chickens, ducks, and a host of Pembroke Welsh Corgis.
We added a western line to our offerings in 2010 so stay tuned for those items to appear here on the website.
By bringing our prims to the public through the internet, Tallowberry Creek Prims was born. We've never looked back! Some days the chores on the farm superceeds producing our designs, but we always find time to "play". Now we're anticipating teaching our three little granddaughters the way of homesteading and creating primitives or whatever art in which they show an interest.
